After building brands for years, we've learned that there's no single way to do it. There's no rule book or magic formula. But good ideas need room to explore, and strong brands need a clear path from thinking to making. So here's ours.
Every great brand started as an idea that someone refused to let die.
Everything starts with a conversation. When you reach out, we'll send you a link to book a quick intro call. No pitch decks, no pressure, just a real conversation.
We want to hear what you're building, what specific service you're looking for, and what you're trying to achieve with it. Your goals, your timeline, the stuff that keeps you up at night. We do a lot of listening on this one.
Then we'll walk you through some of our past work, not to show off, but to show you how we think. If it feels like a fit, we'll have a proposal in your inbox within 24 hours. Because nobody likes waiting around wondering if they're ever going to hear back.
If the intro call feels right for both of us, you'll have a proposal in your inbox within 24 hours.
It gives you a clear picture of what we're going to do, how long it'll take, and what it'll cost. Think of it as a handshake in document form. And if something doesn't feel right, we'll adjust. This is a conversation, not a take-it-or-leave-it.
Contract signed? Good. Now we bring you into our world.
We'll walk you through exactly how things work on our end, how we communicate, how we deliver work, and where you can track everything. We'll add you to our communication channel and set you up with access to a project dashboard so you're never left wondering what's happening behind the scenes.
We don't believe in the "pay us and then hear nothing for six weeks" experience. So we built a system that makes sure that never happens.
Now we dig in. We start by sending you an information-gathering form, a deep-dive questionnaire that helps us understand your brand from the inside out. Then we sit down with your key stakeholders and really get into it.
There's no single magic question that unlocks the perfect brand. The magic is in the volume. We want to know everything: your brand, your audience, your competitors, your gut feelings, and your weird preferences that you think don't matter. They usually do. All of this becomes the foundation for everything that follows.
Before we make anything, we make sure we're all looking in the same direction. Literally.
Positioning comes first when the project calls for it. We audit your existing brand, study your competitive landscape, and build out a brand platform that gives your identity a strategic spine: mission, vision, values, tone of voice, key attributes, and an elevator pitch that actually makes people lean in instead of glaze over.
Then come the moodboards. We'll put together 2–3 visual directions based on everything we've learned. Think of these as a gut check, a way to align on the visual vibe before anyone starts pushing pixels.
This is where the real fun starts. After moodboard approval, we disappear into our studio and start turning strategy into visuals. The initial identity usually takes about 3–4 weeks, depending on scope and schedule.
If you don't hear from us for a bit during this phase, that's actually a good sign. It means we're heads-down, deep in the work, making sure every direction we bring to you is strong enough to stand on its own.
Before we present anything, we road-test each identity concept by applying it to real-world touchpoints. Because a logo that looks great on a white screen but falls apart on a business card isn't a logo. That's a draft.
A typical project includes 2–3 identity directions. We don't do the "here's 12 options, pick your favorite" thing. Every direction we show you has been thought through, tested, and built with intention. Quality over quantity, every time.
We'll present the work with logos, identity elements, and real-world applications all together, so you're not trying to imagine what a logo could look like in the wild. You'll see it living and breathing.
Ideally, we present to all your key stakeholders at once. First reactions in a room, or on a call, are gold. We'll also send a PDF for anyone who needs to sit with it a little longer. Some people know what they love right away. Others need a second look. Both are valid.
A standard project includes two rounds of revisions. Here's the flow: we present, you give feedback, we refine, you review again, and then we lock it in. Clean and simple.
If you need more rounds beyond that, we'll work something out, but the two-round structure keeps things focused. It's surprising how much sharper feedback becomes when there's a framework around it. Less "can we try 47 different shades of blue?" and more "here's exactly what we need."
This is where the brand leaves our hands and starts living in yours.
We don't just dump a Google Drive link on you and say "good luck." We'll walk you through everything on a call: how to use the logo, when to use each version, how the colors work together, and how the typography should be used. Basically, we make sure you feel confident enough to run with it on your own.
And honestly, this is usually where the relationship gets deeper, not where it ends. Once you see your brand come to LIFE, you tend to want to keep going.
